6th Grade Takes Its Weather Studies Outside!

On Thursday, the 6th grade scientists at MS 8 took their learning outside! It was way too beautiful of a day to learn about the weather inside, so we headed out to MetroTech to make observations and use weather tools. We collect data about the types of clouds we saw in the sky, we used 3 different types of thermometers (digital, infrared, and bulb) to compare temperature and we even used a homemade tool to calculate the relative humidity (ps… we were spot on with our calculations!) We had a blast and cannot wait for our next outdoor lesson!!
