8th grade Social Studies
What is your background and education?
I was born and raised in Queens, and I am a product of the NYC public school system. I attended Hunter College and studied British Literature and Language Criticism and am currently getting my Masters in Education at Lehman College.
How long have you been teaching?
This is my fourth year teaching at MS 8 (now MS 915)!
What is your favorite part of teaching?
Meeting all the kids! Learning their stories and just teaching my love for literature and hoping they can develop an appreciation and love for it as well!
What do you like to do outside of school?
I am a huge soccer fan. I played competitively and coached for a number of years before becoming a teacher. Mia san mia!
