8th grade Math
What is your background and education?
I grew up in Clinton Hill. This is my 6th year teaching. I obtained my Master’s degree from Hofstra University.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
My favorite thing about teaching is watching kids make connections. I especially love when I can help a child, who has said they’ve previously struggled with math, gain confidence in their ability to achieve in the subject through hard work and perseverance.
What is an interesting fact about you?
My twin sister is also a teacher. She teaches 1st grade in Park Slope and I worked at the same school with her before coming to MS915.
What do you like to do outside of school?
When I’m not teaching I love to travel the world. I’m an avid reader and an animal lover.
