Physical Education
What is your background and education?
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education as well as a Sports Management Master’s degree, both from Brooklyn College.
How long have you been teaching?
I have been a substitute for the past two school years at MS 447 in Brooklyn; this year at MS 8 is my first year of full-time teaching.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
My favorite part of teaching is just seeing how happy the kids get when they are engaged in a physical activity. I enjoy that part because the rest of the day the kids are in classes sitting down, so when they finally get to run around while we are playing games they really enjoy themselves.
What do you like to do outside of school?
Outside of school I enjoy watching and participating in sports, as well as traveling. I am trying to go to a different state or country every year, with the hope of visiting all 50 states and numerous countries.
