6th Grade Social Studies
My Caribbean background set the tone for the respect I have for education. I’m a life-long learner who ravishes any documents on world history. In my social studies classroom, I bring knowledge and passion about world history to my students. I also love to interact with my “tweens” for I am aware that it was at that age I began to realize that the world was a complex place to live in. When my “tweens” learn something new and their eyes light up, I realize that they have begun to construct the world in a unique light. In my free time I love to write short stories and some have been published. I intend to be an author before I retire.
